A successful day to say the least. King Jonas attended the G7 summit in Évian-les-Bains, France, near the border with Switzerland. Jonas met privately with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and French President Emmanuel Macron, followed by a constructive meeting with U.S. President Trump.

I was amazed, surprised, and relieved about the amount of security at the summit. The Integrated Safety and Security Group (ISSG), led by the French Air and Space force, Swiss Air Force, along with thousands of law enforcement officers, provided impressive security during the summit, including to support staff such as myself.

Jonas briefly discussed the Israeli-U.S.-Iranian and the Russian-Ukrainian wars with President Trump. I was able to secure confirmation from Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, an agreement to meet with our new prime minister, Sabine Keller, to discuss trade between our nations.

Tomorrow, the King and I will travel to Asia, along with our new prime minister. However, due to security concerns, Sabine will travel via another aircraft.

I have to add that Jonas really impressed me today with his diplomacy. He is a natural in statesmanship. Also, I was really surprised that he ended his day wanting to have dinner with me. I am not sure what is happening between the two of us.
