Journal Entry 71

Line 2.
To be honest with you, my obsession with decoding the cryptic line consumed every minute of my day.
995 – Елизавета – 50912040 – Fragmente
I cannot recall whether I ate a meal today. I do not feel hungry. Instead, I feel nauseous and dizzy—something I have not experienced since Karina and the children were taken from me.
The second line: two numbers and two words. One word in Russian. The other in German.
995—The article of the Imperial Russian Penal Code that criminalised sexual acts between men.
Елизавета—Elizaveta, the wife of Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich Romanov.
50912040—These numbers took me the longest to decipher. Read backwards, they reveal a date: 04 February 1905.
Fragmente—Fragments. If I am correct, the word refers to Elizaveta gathering the remains of the Grand Duke after a bomb was thrown at his carriage, blowing him to pieces.
My conclusion: a direct threat of assassination.
Why?
I revisited the notes I had written about the first line:
Hans Hermann von Katte was beheaded as Frederick the Great was forced to watch.
Both lines lead to royalty.
Both lead to violent death.
There is another connection between them. I can sense it, but I am not yet prepared to draw a conclusion.
My dearest journal, my sense of dread is justified—and I have decoded only two lines.
I lost my wife.
I almost lost my children.
I will not lose my King.
